Advice for UW first-year students - Professor Shawn Wong

Shawn Wong is a professor for the UW English Department and specializes in creative writing and Asian-American studies. He is the author of the novels "American Knees" and "Homebase," as well as co-editor of six multicultural literary anthologies.

The video is so true, but the truth of the matter is the fact that so many students at that young age are not equipped to ask questions nor to maintain a dialogue with their seniors.
Now at the age of 73 I found that a good debate is so challenging.
