Hard to tell but it almost seems like the HomePod Mini sounds better, which would be pretty insane considering it's much smaller.

the nest audio can get louder, but it starts to significantly distort when you pass the loudness threshold of the HomePod mini. the HomePod mini has much crisper mids and treble, while the nest audio has a slightly higher frequency response on the bass. the HomePod mini is like 3x smaller for basically on par sound quality.

The nest audio has much better, more natural bass, the hole song is much more clear and the net audio is closer to the original music.

But throught the video it's impossible to tell which is better. What You think? We can't tell throught the video. What you hear is different which we hear.

Everyone say homepod is better, BUT it's just because it's got 360° sound, and it seems like it's louder and has more bass, but in the real life the Nest Audio is better.

A really difficult one to the homepod pips it ever so slightly. It just sounds richer.

Wonder how it compares to a Sonos One?

I actually listened to the nest, sonos move and echo plus in-store and at home....wasn't impressed considering what the manufacturers promise and especially with the move from a cost point of view....

Opted for Libratone Zipp 2, due to cost (got a great deal) and its sheer flexibility. I was so impressed, that bought another Zipp 2 and stereo paired them.

Going to sell my Sonos One's as a result.

The Zipp 2's aren't perfect, but they are the best for my own needs, requirements and cost.

I'm not an Apple man, but I have to say, I am really impressed by this new homepod.

It's very impresive the audio quality on the mini, since the Nest Audio has two dedicated speakers for highs and lows and the mini has only a single driver. Never owned an apple product before, but seems like finally apple made something

The Google nest sounds hollow next to the HomePod mini. The mini ends up sounding fuller with a much rounder tone that belies its size. Of course my opinion could change when listening in person a cameras tend to compress audio. For $99 though I think it'll be hard to beat.

The Nest has more speakers and probably gets louder, but the HomePod is less muddy and has a wider soundstage, you can hear the definitive bass, mids, and treb.
