I took delivery on your best overall Samsung gas range this Thursday, without looking at any ratings at all. We agree totally. It is great, looks impressive, loving the convection oven (no need for an air fryer!), can't wait to use the proofing feature...it is everything I wanted in a range. We have a Samsung refrigerator/ freezer and have always been pleased with the quality, needing only 1 repair in over 6 years, and otherwise flawless.

I owned one of these in my old house in Wisconsin. I always found that the gas was turned on by it’s mechanism before the igniter got hot enough - and I ALWAYS smelled gas at the beginning of each oven use. For the record - it was “repaired by a Samsung technician - didn’t change a thing though.

You can't lead people to believe they can just plug in an electric range. It requires 220 service which most don't have unless they have it specially installed.

I recently got the Bosch HGI8046UC gas range and after using the oven a couple of times we encountered a serious design flow, and perhaps other slide in ranges too. In addition to the vents on the top(which goes back all the way against the back wall, there are vent openings in the back side also, a few inches below from the top. So while using the oven, the heat is exiting from both the places. The back side is flushed against the wall and there are no tiles there. It is just a dry wall. So the heat from both the vents are heating up the dry wall as well as the tiles. It is heating up the back wall to the point that I cannot even touch it. I cannot imagine it will not damage the wall down the road. I contacted Bosch and they are saying it is perfectly normal. Since all the slide in ranges goes all the way to the back wall these days, I am wondering if others have noticed this issue.

Samsung is the worst choice. You smell gas and cooking is not accurate. I also has Samsung French door refrigerator and that was also horrible. You can google the issues with freezing up and see YouTube videos and class action. I went with Viking professional brand for $4K and very happy with the quality.
I am sorry but you don't need a wifi connection on your stove, those gadgets will break. The only thing you need is a timer and common sense.

Put function BEFORE visual design appeal ...Check out the cost of replacing that Samsung oven cook panel if it were to go wrong.... approx $500.... then you have labor costs on top... Stay simple and cook on a PROVEN stove... Do your due diligence and research any model you're interested in for common faults and failures and the customer service of the shop and manufacturer... a high level of complaints with the manufacturer of a fault MIGHT finally be recognized as a 'design flaw'... seek these out before purchase.
