I LOVE ASTARION. He is sexy, has a buttery soft voice, is deep, funny, fun, and just amazing. His character is so deep. I don’t know the whole story of him yet, since I haven’t got that far into it, but I know he changes. You don’t have to be heartless to get his approval, you just have to be sneaky and powerful. He likes shows of power and stealth. I believe it’s because he was on the receiving end of torture for so long and felt weak to change anything, and that’s why he likes to see power because it makes him feel like he is finally around someone who can save him, and honestly I completely get that. I believe the reason that he likes a bit of cruelty is because misery loves company, he wants someone else to suffer so that he doesn’t feel so alone in all that he has gone through.
