It's pronounced "tor-oh-nah-doh". It's not a tornado in Kansas.

Mark 5, not Mark "V". The Mark 4, Mark 3 and Mark 2 preceeded it. Lincoln continued the Mark series well into the 1980s with the Mark 6, Mark 7 and Mark 8.

These were the golden days. I wasn't alive then, however it was great times. Crazy serial killers were around but we have those now too. Cruise slowly and listen to great music.

Whoever came up with the name “phaeton package” seems to not know what the word phaeton means

I grew up in the 70s and I've now lived long enough to hear an Oldsmobile referred to as a weather event by a millennial.

I see I am not the only one who clearly noticed the mispronounced words of the classic automobile names.

It’s an Oldsmobile Tor-o-nado NOT tornado. And the Lincoln is a Mark 5 (Roman numeral). Not Mark V.

Sadly they had to ban the sales of Oldsmobile tornados, they would spin so fast the fenders and wheels would fly off in random directions and cause severe damage to to houses and buildings. 😲

If you have never driven an American luxury car from the 1960's through 1970's, you don't know what luxury feels like.
