The PlayStation 4 white light of death could be a number of issues ranging from bad HDMI port , overheating , and even a circuit board issue. I’ve noticed lately when I wiggle my hdmi or put something underneath it to hold it up a few inches off the ground that works . Also, if I use a little bit of force pushing the hdmi cord in (with force) and wiggling the usb cord that works as well, and this time I turned the ps4 on without the usb cord plugged in , and it came right on . There’s no way to truly know what causes the white light of death and usually it’s a faulty hdmi port but there are methods to actually getting that signal back on so you can game…. Hopefully this video saves you some money so you don’t run to Sony for a hefty repair bill or maybe you don’t have the money to run out and buy a ps5 , so try these few methods. 1 turn the PlayStation on without the usb cord plugged in … 2: use a little bit of force pushing the hdmi cord in , and prop something underneath it , Because for me these methods do work .
