How to Fix WHITE LIGHT on PS4 & PS4 Pro Console (NO Video Signal or Frozen)

Do you want to know how to fix the solid white light on the ps4 and ps4 pro console? This is very easy to do. There maybe an issue with no video signal, the wrong resolution or the console may have froze when it's shutting down or gaming! There was an issue in Warzone when playing the game would freeze and you have to unplug the ps4 from the back of the console and then plug it back in! Also, unplug your TV for about 1 to 2 minutes to power cycle both the ps4 and tv incase there is an HDCP issue. Also, you can try powering your PS4 into the safe mode menu. ...

I opened it up, cleaned it, checked all the soldering, replaced heat gel, sacrificed a virgin, nothing would make the white pulsating light of doom go solid blue, untill you suggested flipping the hdmi cable, now it is alive again, thanks to you.

I am now a BELIEVER. I plugged out the the ps4 as well as the tv. Left it unplugged for the slotted time and the plugged backed in and it worked. My issue was white light with no signal on TV!!! Thank you sir.

I have a PS4 pro that has been laying around my house for about 3 months, unused. I decided to go play some f1 and then was scared why my TV wasn't registering the console. I unplugged everything even my TV, and switched both ends of the HDMI cable. I just got a new cable and taadaaa! it worked. If all of them doesn't work, it's either the console's broken or its the HDMI, consider getting a new one and plugging it. Helpful video.

thank you! the thing that fixed it for me was unplugging the TV. I already tried going into safe mode before watching your video and it didn't work.
I only use my PS4 4 times a year to get PS Plus packs. I really didn't want to have to ask a friend to claim them for me, so I'm really glad I managed to fix it.

Thank you for the video to help trouble shooting. I had already attempted the power button suggestion (but did not hold it long enough to do the first two troubleshooting you explained. Pressing it once made it go from white light to orange light. Waited a bit, then pressed it again, it appeared to be powering up with pulsing blue and went back to the solid white light. Then I went to search and found your video to try first.) Your explanations concerning the HDMI cable surprised me, but it sort of made sense. I had seen odd things with “no video” before on one of my Samsung TVs’ source inputs with other devices. I switched Source input to two other sources and confirmed they were working. I then switched back to the PS4 Source selection and it was showing the “press the PS4 button on your controller” screen. Everything worked normally again. I have not tried unplugging the HDMI cable to see if that will force my PS4 into the solid white state during power-up, but I will some day just to see how things work. I didn’t know about “safe mode”. I see where that could be helpful in the future. Thanks again!

This actually worked and really quickly. I went the extra mile. Unplugged the entire ps4 and my TV for 1 minute. Flipped the hdmi cable. And reset my video output. But it worked. Thank you for this!

Thank you! I disconnected my TV and PlayStation then I reversed the HDMI cord from the TV to the PlayStation. Plugged it all back in and got to safe mode then I check for updates and I needed a newer update so I downloaded that and let the PlayStation do its thing. And then went through two different restarts and now I’m playing again! Thank you very
