The half-rack is great, just got it. I've had the infinity squat rack, R-3, and flat foot monster light rack and the half rack is just a such a great go between. Love not having to drill into anything for it to be stable. Even the monster flat foot rack needed some weight on it to be stable.

Great video! How tall was your ceiling that you needed to pop out the tiles to make it fit?

Looking at this or the S2 but leaning towards this to expand it later like you mentioned.

Nice video, did you do the HR-2 upgrade? If so can you squat in the smaller section? I have had my SML-2 for 5 years love it and looking at the upgrade kit with 90” posts and 17” inch crossmembers so I can add the multi grip pull-up bar.

The skinny fat bar combo is a bit odd. I got it to work on my grip but if you have it installed so the fat bar is above the skinny bar (or vice versa) the lower bar ends up "assisting" your pull-up and prevents you from swinging as your forearm is constantly in contact with it. It weirdly helps you do more pull-ups but I wonder why they don't just offer a fat pull-up bar crossmemeber as opposed to their dual bar.

awesome video, I got my first rogue sml-2 with the safety arms for 300 on offer up. I was going to go with a smaller amazon for the same price but these videos helped me to upgrade longterm instead of having to replace it again. Thanks for the info.

Possibly a dumb question, I prefer a black color squat rack, and so then it wouldn't matter if I get the SML-2 instead SML-2 C right ?

The only reason to get the SML-2C would be specifically if you wanted a color other than black correct ?

I am thinking about this or SML-1 with Rogue P-3 pull up bar. My question is, is it worth it to get the Rogue stand alone pull up bar or is the bar very stable on this for weighted pull ups, muscle ups etc? Thanks.

i picked up a sml-2 with spotter arms and storage pegs from someone for 360 cash. the rogue web site would of had it at around 900-950 with tax and shipping.
