Idiot-Proof Excel Series Part 8

Delete data stored on another worksheet using a Form interface in Excel. This feature allows you to preview data before deleting it and then to confirm the record to delete using a pop-up window.

Hello, first thank you for a very easy to understand Tutorial. I have no knowledge of VBA and still you make it so simple. Excellent!! You show the creation of forms and storing the data etc.
Now, using the basis from these tutorials, I want to try create a simple Daily stock inward, outwards register that is idiot proof. I want to deploy this at my work site and keep track of it from my office. I am envisioning a master inventory list with name, unique code, UoM, stock re-order value.
- Have a searchable drop-down field in the inward/outward form based on the master inventory list
- Auto populate the Item ID, UoM, Available stock etc. based on the inventory item name picked
- Linking the inward and outward sheets to keep track of the available stock of each item
- Data validation of the 'issue qty' field dynamically based on the available stock qty.
- In the future create a dashboard showing weekly, monthly etc report for the outward of specific inventory item vise or issued to location vise or issued person vise etc.

Any interest in taking this up as a continuation to the tutorial series. You covered collecting the data in forms, saving the data and the next is to process the data. I felt that daily inventory inward/outward register is one way to cover new concepts and features in Excel.

By the way, I was not able to open TeachExcel.com. Any issue with the site.

Ran across this series by accident, however it was amazing as I am ale to implement into templets I create for customers. I will be looking to purchase the premium tutorials so I may "fine tune" the templets. Very Well Done...Thank-you!!

@TeachExcel another great video and a great way to end the series. I'm really glad I've used this series as the base of my entire model at work. I noticed that you made a very interesting point at the 16:48ish mark in regards to deleting an entry that is in the middle of your dataset. Do you have instructions about how to do that in the teachexcel website? I would think that deleting a "nested" row of data would through off the standard submit function, or would it? Thanks for all the help and great videos!!!
