I just got my foodi and am so excited to try all the features. I have never pressure cooked before, so I just want to check to see if I'm doing it correctly. I followed all the instructions. What I'm wondering is if when it's cooking and in the seal position, should any steam be escaping? Because it just did. And it also made a whistling sound. Is this normal? Thank you!

I have just purchased a Ninja Foodi and each time we have used it, it has made a loud, piercing noise (enough to make my one year old cry!!) when building the pressure. We have checked the lid, and looks all ok. Any advice?

Why it takes much more time to build pressure than it was before? I used to cook rice on pressure and it was perfect but now it burns, but I put exactly the same amount of rice and water as before?

I have the OP500EU for almost 4 weeks now and all my attempts to PC has failed 😔
First it took 50 min to PC and a lot of steam comes through the float valve.
Yesterday I tried again but after 25 min I stopped because everything was boil before I closed the lid and still dit PC. Any advice?

After pressure cooking, should any remaining water in the pot be drained before air frying the food? Somebody told me no, they didn't do that, but wouldn't it be better to do so?

The current pressure cooker I have sound like a smoke detector and terrifies my dog. Does the ninja foodie pressure cooker make a similar noise when starting and stopping?

My red dot pops up straight away when it's reached pressure not why it's finishing its timer??

Does anybody else feel like this is fake advertising? Pressure cook a chicken for 15 minutes is what it is advertised as, however this completely ignores the fact that it takes 20 minutes for the pressure to build first therefore it is 35 minutes not 15! Would not have bought it had that been made clear. Very frustrating
