THANK YOU!! What a major struggle this has been for me. This should not be that difficult to do. Suggest you also paint the lock white on the cooker so it can easily be seen when you're lining up the pressure cooker lid.

Heres some BONUS information:
Once lid is in place, it won't make a Click sound (as the manual reads)
Secondly know that lid would stay loose/wiggly (this can be worrisome to those who been using pressure cooker, as pressure cooker lid goes tight and sealed fully doesn't stay loose/wiggly.
Thirdly seal/vent knob would stay loose almost in both directions.
As the video says " LOCKING THE LID IS THE SECRET...."

yeah, i'm a mechanic, and how to get the lid to seal and stay on there I had to come here. That being said, the london broil will be done in an hour and a half.

What about the tiny basket that is supposed to sit somewhere under that lid on one of those valves?? I don't see it on yours, and mine simply wont attach to anything or stay put.

My silicone ring is not fitting properly. I have only used it three times and two out of three it doesn't seal.I keep pushing it on and it doesn't matter. I do not have this problem with my Ipot which I have used countless times. Please help Cindy millen

Purchased this for my wife this xmas and have just taken it out of the box to make sure it's all there. One thing that concerns me is that the seal/vent toggle seems amazingly loose and not really connected to anything. is this normal? I want to make sure before trying to get it all back in the box to get it exchanged

I got one in november but when i turn the pressure release valve it dosent do anything. It dosent release air like I see its suppose to.

When I try to close the pressure cooking lid, I get the message "SHUT" and the all the cooking features won't light up/let me use them. What am I doing wrong? I'm lining up the arrows and closing clockwise as the directions say. I'm hoping there is a simple solution without having to call customer service. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

i seem to have a problem lining my cover up to the arrows last night it took me about 1 5 minutes to line the arrows up and finally I got it what am I 'm doing wrong . .
