2022 update: Only real change is that the fragment and delirium tabs have been improved meaningfully. Fragment remains must-have (for level 85+ play). Delirium remains very skippable.

short version: best tabs currency, maps, fragment, quad or premium tabs. worst tabs delirium, metamorph, blight and uniques (for most people).

This video has somewhat of a trade focus - SSF players will find more utility in the unique tab than I do and less in premium tabs.

I expect there will be MANY other opinions on the best use of points - don't just consider my suggestions, also look at what others suggest in the comments.

It's worth mentioning that some of the premium tabs allow you to use their functionality without going to another vendor - for example, upgrading oils and annointing jewellery, upgrading essences.

Ive been playing for a few years already and PoE is genuinely my favourite game atm. Ive previously bought every type of tab (on discount), aside from the newest ones (flasks and gem), which I find quite useless atm. Im rather frugal with money, yet Ive never thought buying supporter packs to get store points in bulk, kudos for giving me that idea.

It's worth noting that the Essence Tab also has 3 of those 'general' store-anything slots like those at the bottom of the Currency Tab.

Unique tab is allright in SSF/private league because it relieves you off the burden of knowing or searching for both the value and utility of each Unique item, as well as delaying any decision: "i know this unique is good...Will i build around it later this league?", "is this any good for any build?", " do i already have a copy of this?", " i might sell it later if i migrate to trade league".unique tab makes it easy, just shove everything in there, if it doesn't go in it means you already have a copy so you can vendor it.If you don't care about anything but the 5 uniques of your build then buying an unique tab is significantly overpaying for space. In any case it's a low priority.

Standard League Pro-hoarder tip: buy lots of tabs, then at end of league leave everything in the remove only tabs until you need it, "it's free real estate"

The unique tab is the Pokémon minigame of SSF: you gotta loot'em all.

adn thanks a ton for the update. ive still got an unholy amount and barly using some fo the more duplicated ones but having rotating dump tabs works sometimes too and its nice ot just keep storing everything yep love it but hate it hahahahaa

As person who played from late close beta till year a go with no stas tabs i say its posible to do so on TRADE leuge BUT it requires outside programs to trade and alot of extra effort

I like that a heist tab and an expedition tab is free

I usually tell ppl the map and currency tab are all you should get to start if you are enjoying the game if you really enjoy the game and plan on sinking hundreds of hours a league start expanding into the other tabs ie i think stuff like delve, fragment are 2 solid ones and then work from there.

If the delirium tab would store/organize cluster jewels it would be far better value.

I think atlas passive tree also made essence tabs more desirable, as most people farm them or at least do so at league start as they aren't locked into a particular región. But I guess you could say that about most mechanics

my quads are empty now I have a uni tab..I think its great for organization.

i always felt limiting player storage is the worst part about online games even those heavy p2w mmos, but since GGG has great reputation with the community u rarely see any complaints about it and for the most part u can play with 4 tabs like i do, i just have to pick and chose wich part of the game i skip entirely like metamorph and delve

I would still recommend Blight tabs, you can anoint things before meeting Cassia.
