I am an ex Qatar Airways crew of 13 years and i’ll be telling you my very honest opinion so it depends to what basis of comparison do you mean. On a customer point of view, QR service is far more better. QR crew work hard because of how the management stress us in case of any complaints and as well as always putting auditors in most flights to maintain the standards of the airline. So you basically work in fear and paranoia. But on a cabin crew point of view, i would suggest better work for Emirates. Why? More freedom and more social life, their airline crew stay longer. Working environment i would say is better compared to us in QR. It’s true that all middle east airlines doesn’t guarantee job stability or security, however, what will keep you going and will make you survive in a faraway, unconventional country is at least having a life and freedom in the end. Emirates staff live a more happy disposition, normal vibe. In QR, it’s a different story, they hire you to work so you’re being controlled and this is real talk and not negativity. Check on other youtube channels how the working environment is on these two airlines and you can see a glimpse of truth to my opinion.

I don’t think Qatar Airways should win, because the Emirates crew is so so friendly. Emirates’ food is also very good. The Qatar First Class suite isn’t really a suite, because it’s very plain and has almost no privacy. Emirates also has a first class shower, which Qatar doesn’t have. Although this is just my opinion.

In my opinion, emirates economy is a little bit better but Qatar business class is shocking! So I probably fly with emirates becuz I can’t afford qatar business class lol
