Dutch emergency vehicles with lights and sirens [Code 3]

Many dutch emergency vehicles are driving with lights and sirens in Amsterdam - The Netherlands.

They drive with ill children and children with a handicap or with a chronicle desease to a zoo in Amsterdam and back home so they forget their disability for a day.

Op 3:35 zie je één van de vele E-klasse ambulances die de regio Utrecht telt. Deze ambulances hebben de rijeigenschappen van een personenwagen en zijn daarom erg handig in de drukke stad.

Bijna elke sirene is anders: de ene is net wat sneller, andere net wat hogere toon en de andere heeft een luchthoorn erdoor.

The warbling effect on some of the sirens really unnerves me a lot. The Chevrolet Express ambulance sirens sound like something out of a goddamn nightmare...

Since I grew up in the Us where our sirens don't sound anything like this, hearing this many Dutch sirens at one time sounds really strange to me for some reason. Some of them, like the ambulances, even sound a little musical.
