Jamaicans believe that dogs see spirits too and that's why they bark at nothing at night

Just want to add another Nigerian urban legend:

We believe that many spirits roam in markets both as sellers and customers and if you want to know who is not human you can either find a way to look upside down (maybe sit on a chair and rest backwards) or you could use a mirror slightly facing it to the ground and looking into it, that you are bound to find people with with no legs at all or animal legs. My cousin told me that he tried it one time cos he didnt believe the myth and wanted to see it for himself, he claimed he saw someone with 2 cow legs and the person saw him and approached and said if he wanted to live he should leave the market right at that moment and warned not to ever try it again Lol. I'd like to believe he was lying. We've grown up now and he still claims that's the most horrifying day of his life.

People also say that there are humans that can tell when a person who isn't human passes them in the market. Some claim to get dizzy or feel their heads swelling when they think a spirit passes them. I have never experienced these, I hope I never, I only hear I from people who claim to have experienced such.

There's also a legend of a mysterious female student who has a new hairstyle every morning. It was found out that she removes her head every night and braids it herself.

I heard about madam koi koi and bush baby b4 I went to boarding school. Somehow, I wasn't terrified. Cos I know they were myths. But karashika still scares me to this day.
