Most people have them in their neighborhoods: those greenish, utility boxes for power lines. When a Draper woman got a $2,500 repair bill for the box on her driveway, she contacted the KSL Investigator Matt Gephardt for help.

Hubby and I went on a trip, were gone in the last two weeks of December. Came back to a water bill for supposedly using about thousands of gallons of water over a short period of time (while we were gone). The bill was enormous. So I disputed it. They sent someone to take a new reading, said, nope, it's correct, so then I decided to do the math. I asked them, "Do the pipes bringing water to my house have the *capacity* to pump 444 gallons of water a minute? Because that's what your bill is saying. They said there was no way I could get that much water out of the hose. (I know, it took me nearly 8 hours to fill a 12, 000 gallon swimming pool half way. Finally they realized their mistake. If they had continued to argue, I would have pulled out my old physics books, and proven that the pipes that are installed couldn't do it.

They put it there. They should also build some type of protection for that stupid location!

The city needs to put better protection around those things. How is there not a cage or bollards around it? Are those not city property?

Ok ok ok. The person who backed into the box insurance should cover the cost. Turn them in . unless you hit it yourselves. Them turn in on on yours.
