I am not someone who enjoys gossip, I don't care about what happens off-camera, I just want to enjoy the shows.

Ive been a mechanic for over 30 years and at one time had a small shop with a couple mechanics working for me. People are saying that Bill is a rip off, or implying that he does bad business bcuz hes been arrested!?. First off we're talking about the business of taking often times brand new vehicles and designing lift kits or even completely redesigning the type of suspension the vehicle uses out of thin air and making it function without issues....this type of work is not cheap...even factory aftermarket setups arent cheap...secondly dont get it twisted about arrests and work quality. Unless the guy is beating up customers or finds that his shop is the perfect backdrop for domestic violence during business hours which i highly doubt then dont worry about what the man does in his personal life

No body that is living today or the last 2000 years is perfect. When it comes to business, you are going to have unhappy customers that will find anything to complain about.

I owned a shop in Southern Louisiana, and had a customer come in with sunroof leaking.( not from me). I went out of my way to get her a part and even got the manufacturer to warranty it. Installed the replacement part at no charge. Cust brakes the part and calls me cussing me out and wanted me to order another latch and install it. I bit my lip and ordered it. It took longer than the first part to come in. Customers reamed me out, so I told her not to return to my shop. She never spent a dollar with me, yet called the BBB on me and was never even my customer. F ing karen

My favorite was the 49 Caddy they did for Earl Campbell, one cool ride. Great job Bill.

I’m from the north side of Houston. I’ve met bill before and grew up in the car scene and seen him at all the shows. This guy was always nice to everyone and always said hello and treated people nicely. His shop always did great work.

I've been arrested before. These perfect people need to straighten up their own life before picking fault with you. NO SUCH THING AS PERFECT PEOPLE...

Let me say this Bill lived 2 streets from my father and I have seen him several times a week at the neighborhood store and I can say that man is one of the best man you can ever meet always looking out for the people in the neighborhood by even giving he’s young neighbor a job at 16 and still works there till today the video makes it look like bill is a bad guy but in all reality he’s one of the best things coming out of a the poor streets of North East Houston

Sounds like a family member pissed him off. You do what is right. The court doesn’t always agree since they are only after money, not justice. If you want justice you better stay the hell out of a courtroom!

I worked for a guy forty years ago, that had a shop near down town, near by neighborhood was made of people with low income...he went out of his way to help these people, he bought cheap cars and fixed them and put them out for sale for very reasonable price, and would always take care of any issues afterwards, there weren'tmany...he had a couple really good mechanics, they did a very honest business

But his competitors, put out bad things about him..gave him a bad reputation....but none of it was true, he was more helpful to his customers and community than any other place I've work for.

I would think if you are going to use a headline like Bill Carlton of Texas metal arrested you would have more info than you do

I'm not really into lifted trucks and low riders, but they clearly do good work. I think just about every business, especially ones in the TV limelight, is going to have bad reviews and lawsuits, it just goes with the territory. As for whatever legal troubles Bill may have had, it's his personal business and should be decided in a court of law, not the court of public opinion.

A wholesome program, great Mechanic's, they do it right . No drama, they need more like this program you can learn by watching .

Bill ain't a bad man and he's GREAT at what he does. I straight up think when it comes to his arrest, someone just pushed him too far and pissed him off. All it takes is one bad day. And as for the price, it takes a HUGE amount of money and a massive amount of time and labor to do the stuff he does. And again, thats family man. Ive literally gotten into knuckle dgragging beat downs with my cousins before. It fucking happens, dont blow shit outta proportion.

We don't know the whole story! Normally the man gets beat up at home then Princess bi-polar calls the police and makes a false allegation and the man gets arrested! Sorry to hear about this! This guy does incredible work

Very talented guy, I’m sure there are 2 sides of every story, I’m sure Bill is smart enough to to move foward and better like his bussiness .

Although I'm not a truck guy, I can totally appreciate the work that Bill's shop does. He's obviously the mastermind and what he does without an engineering degree and metal is incredible.
What he knows about engineering, cannot be learned in a classroom. Perhaps the big car/truck companies should do apprenticeships at his shop.
