Pat : “Do you think I am an idiot to stay for Sucker Punch” while standing in Psychic Surge.

I think if Vinny and Pat knew that the Japanese use R's instead of L's, they could've predicted quite a few more of these featured options. This was a fun video overall!

I never really focused on Japanese Pokémon names, but komala’s is a very good one. It’s name is nekoara, ne means to sleep, and koara is koala, so it’s name is literally just sleep koala. So cute

I really want to see this with German names 😂 but that's purely because I'll know if the pronunciations are any good. Fire video Cenzo 🔥🔥

Just notes on the pronounciation:
• All es are pronounced, there are no silent es in Japanese, for example Churine is chu-ree-neh
• Ao is pronounced like ow
• Double letters make a small pause before so Mimikkyuu is like mee-mee kyuu

Mostly the pronounciation was pretty good though 👍

Your pronounciations of Japanese pokemon names are on par with my Japanese students trying to pronounce the English names 😂 And the aside with Kermit was hilarious! It caught me off-guard and it was really well done lol

Okay.. I'll just say this as someone who's favorite pokemon is Skuntank. Skuntank's best ability if you could give it anything would probably be levitate, giving it no weakness, and Skuntank is a physical attacker. Seeing nasty plot on it made me sad.

2:40 'mono' means one, so that implies a Pokémon who has 1 as part of its name theme. Monozu sounds like a dragon-type, so Deino makes sense (root word 1 in German)

Pat naming his Samurott "moist dog" 💀

Love the video!
As a constructive critic, I would have liked to have only the name revealed as well, to guess first and then see the silhuette. Otherwise it takes a little fun out of it

Typhlosion is called Tornupto in German. That's badass, too.
I also noticed that some German names are inspired from the Japanese names like Braixen or Cacturne.
