He dodged the shuriken but the shuriken was naruto, he was ready to block the rasenshuriken but the rasenshuriken was sasuke, he tried to capture sasuke but HE WAS sasuke. The amount of fake outs there was insane, like we're watching part 2 of jojo

btw, Naruto had half his chakra absorbed into Momoshiki (who became stronger from it) and Sasuke’s portal uses like 40 terabytes of chakra storage depending on how many people he teleports, and has to conserve energy for the trip back. So Naruto and Sasuke are both basically at half power here, meaning a full power Naruto or Sasuke individually would body Momoshiki.

what makes this fight even more insane was that Naruto just finished getting his chakra absorbed yet he still had enough stamina to run the ones with momoshiki and in the manga I think he was still holding back because he didn't want to nuke everyone with momoshiki

Love the fact that at this point in their shinobi careers, Naruto and Sasuke are straight up clowning high-tier enemies with Academy tier jutsu in transformations and substitutions

Gaara reacting and actually straight up stopping Momoshiki’s attack is more impressive than the Tsuchikage simply dodging a punch. Gaara trapped this dude in sand and almost got a jutsu off. The Tsuchikage dodged a hit and got one tapped.

I love how this one exchange is basically a best of compilation of Naruto and Sasuke's fights from throughout the series. We've got the shadow shuriken triple fake from the Zabuza fight, the rigged shuriken from the Itachi fight, the burrowing underground uppercut from the Neji fight, The transformation disguised as a rasenshuriken from the pain fight, and probably several more that I missed.
