Alimony should only be considered if the receiving spouse is disabled, and unable to work. Whole idea of a divorce is that you both are free to go your own way financially and otherwise .

There should be NO alimony except in extreme circumstances. And children should always be shared custody without any Child suport paid one way or the other. REASONABLE MEANS to me is you carry your own weight. Women are using this as a windfall... a "legal" form of theft. If somehow I lost my mind and began thinking about getting married, I would only do it with an iron clad Prenup.
