I was invited to see Cirque du Soleil in 1995 in New York. Had no clue and thought of a sircus tent with animals and such.
It was the most breathtaking and delightfull show I had ever seen, blew my mind away. Alegra was spectacular, different and so full of colour, music, life and beauty! To see it live and upclose is the ultimate experience. The performers are the best of the best!
Go see them live if you can. It's worth every penny!

I can remember watching a Cirque Du Soleil performance on PBS almost 20 years ago, Since that time I have always wanted to see their Big Show~at that time they put a whole new twist on characterized performers and athletes. Absolutely Love this video, only wish they had this center 20 years ago.

I started to teach myself juggling 2 years ago and have now moved on to Poi spinning and Flower Sticks. I hope that soon I'll be able to be a part of a Cirque du Soleil production.

@georgert I'm pretty sure there are other areas as well though. Acting; Design, IDK behind the scenes =) I know they say they pic one with experience backgrounds, but again IDK. You can always do some performance classes to boost the chance.
