Ubuntu problem Could not get lock in folder var/lib/apt/lists when trying to install apt-get update

Following commands which used in the video:

sudo killall apt apt-get
sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/lock
sudo rm /var/cache/apt/archives/lock
sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/lock*
sudo dpkg --configure -a

Than type following commands
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH! this helped a lot, i was just running the update command to see if there where any updates at all and this exact error popped up and part of it said "It May break your system" at the end wich i was starting to get a little worried for a sec until i found this video. As you can tell I'm a little new to Linux lol.

i did the steps then i restarted the system
and did it after rebooting and its working now
