I heard a trick to beating the last Valkyrie is to put tape over the boss health bar. As you see the health bar going down it effects how you play, you lose focus on the mechanics of the fight and instead are focusing on the health bar. This effect becomes more prominent at lower health levels, the heart races, adrenaline spikes, hands shake. However if you don't know the bosses health then you fight normally from start to finish. You just keep fighting the same until the end. That is how I beat her.

I just watched this and wanted to say I 100% feel your pain about fighting Sigrun. I platinumed the game on a lower difficulty but wanted to beat her on GMGOW and it took me probably 150 tries at least. I applaud your efforts and completely related to every frustrating moment you had. Well done finishing the game on GMGOW difficulty from the beginning as that's no easy feat!

Impressive. You're certainly more dedicated than me. I like getting platnums for games I enjoy but have no problem lowering the difficulty if it's too hard. I figure the challenge isn't worth it if I'm not having fun. FF7 Remake was about the only hard mode run I actually completed.

for the blast that you "couldn't" avoid all you had to do was dodge backwards, also allows you to counter the follow-up better. I know it doesn't matter now since you got it, but if anyone else is having the same issue i hope this helps.
