The runt didnt make it unfortunately - I didnt see the parents remove its body. Two plump siblings however. It was indeed fascinating - I know the number of caterpillars and such that they consume are huge, so the parents work really hard. Fabulous video, thank you so much, Lesley.

Inky and Philbert are so sweet to each other and are such hardworking parents! I'm still blown away by how many worms they're able to find for their babies - and that's just one chickadee family! Seeing that wayward bumblebee made me giggle all over again, hehe. So sweet knowing that these two brood 2 siblings are out there, exploring the wide world around them.
