Agree completely on the price. Love these things but they are so so expensive. I bet the diesel 2 door will be comparable in price to a TRD Pro Tacoma.

I’ve waited 42 years to get a Jeep and I know the price is a thing but I love it. I live in an area where commuting 30-70 miles each way isn’t uncommon to say the least. I couldn’t see doing it prior to the JL. To be fair I got a 2019 5 months ago and paid about 10% under sticker even after I got all the add ons I wanted including warranty. I’ve had used cars my entire life while my awesome wife gets the nice stuff. I’m not at all unhappy now that I have it. People pay 60k for less car.

Nice review, finally a non feminine like the sahara review (i hate saharas). I had a 2012 two door model sport and it was a blast. Being a two door it was really peppy, it had a nice sound too. I'm looking forward for a two door basic rubicon. Most people are buying a four door bling bling saharas or a fully loaded rubicon to go Starbucks , but fans like me will always stick to a two door manual. My kids are young so they can bend their needs, hehehe it's all about being old school and retro.

How is the soft top noise at high speed? Also did this one have the upgraded Alpine speakers? If not how did the radio sound as I don't want to spend $1300 on the upgrade.

What pisses me off with pricing is the options. I want the Aux switches BUT, it comes with the trailer tow. I want only the dimming center mirror BUT it comes on a package with the sound system. Also, the price for the tops are the same for Unlimited and 2 door, why?

Jeep wave became 50/50 after JK. When Jeep started making Jeeps for mainstream consumers who want to mall crawl not rock crawl, it became less of a community. Probably more thn half the people driving Wranglers never go off-road or mod their Jeep.
