Why am I seeing what is basically pro fossil fule propaganda on YouTube. Yea natural sources may be a bit inconsistent but fossil fules are not the solution when we are trying to stop global warming and all so we all don't go extinct. A better idea would be some form of way of storing that energy that or nuclear power to help out.

I actually really liked the production quality in this video. its not well researched or anything.. but i like the graphics. everything else is rather crappy though. I don't think you understand how renewable energy works.


Renewable energy simply just doesn't work how you say it works. its absolutely ridiculous to suggest that we have to use renewable energy the second we get it, and that not having enough sun or rain or wind in any particular area means there'll be shortages is insane. Its false. By your definition, how are fossil fuels any different? what if we don't mine enough coal, or extract enough gasses? it doesn't hold up. you're ignoring information to fit your own narrative.

I'm sitting here watching this on a TV entirely powered by solar in a house entirely powered by solar that I set up myself 3 years ago in Auckland. It's easy, reliable, cheap and green. Innovate or get left behind NZ

When we had the drought through 2020-21 we had I sufficient power at peak times. New Zealand were very lucky that many stood up to the “Green” element demanding the decommissioning of the Coal Fired Power Station that was in standby mode. New Zealand had to import 1 MILLION tons (both years) of Dirty Indonesian coal as it could no longer burn cleaner burning NZ coal. More Green Idealism instead of practical solutions
