This is exactly the list I've been looking for. I always try to mod Skyrim and keep it as vanilla as possible. And this will make it so much easier.

Phoenix is the GOAT. Her modlists are always what the games should've been.

This was absolutely perfect 😄.

On a real note, I do appreciate your reviews of modlists, your videos are clean, professional, & informative.

I've been playing on this mod list for awhile as I tried one of the requiem packs and while I liked it, I just wanted to actually play the game as I have never finished the main quest or dlc's. It also is great for customization as I like to add little mods here and there and for the most part they won't cause conflicts. Great video, I hope more people give this one a shot!

This is good news for a lot of people that just want to play the game.

Vanilla SE does very little wrong really. I often wonder just how much time people spend outside around rivers and woodlands when I hear them say rivers don't look like that, well actually a lot of the time they do, especially in Autumn and Winter. I've spent years walking the rivers, woodlands, lakes and valleys of Wales, I've only ever seen rivers look like realistic water 2 in particular stretches where people fly fish in knee deep water during the height of summer. There's a lot about Skyrim that feels like Wales, except the mountains, that's the one thing that looks off. Majestic mountains is one mod that makes a massive difference!

It's the NPC's that really need the overhaul, the stuff you get really close to and engage with, so Amidianborn and Rustic clothing, any creature textures, 3d ropes and mountains, blood, puddles, forge water, the night mother lol, but apart from that it's all mostly passable for a game of its age. It's all subjective though right, so have it whoever you are, there's something for everyone in Skyrim mods.

Thanks for bringing another list to our attention, much appreciated!

Its great to see your growing, and great video as always. Will you be covering the updated Licentia list again? Looks like they have changed allot.

This list was my introduction to Skyrim about 5 months ago. It's really good for what it does (enhanced vanilla) but honestly, given the choice, I would use something like Septimus even for a blind playthrough (I felt how bland Skyrim was even on my first playthrough). Still, this is a really well made list.

This list is still on Wabbajack in 2024

This list feels like what the Skyrim remaster should have been.

Hey DIC, have you looked into the nexus collections? Will you do videos on them? Perhaps on StoryWealth the top F4 collection and the top Skyrim one?

I'm curious, would you recommend this list or phoenix flavor for a first playthrough?

I have a gtx 970 and an i5 4690k. I want to be able to play with 45-60 fps. Do you think I could go with TFP (which seems more to my liking) or should I stick with legends of the frost because of performance?

Hello, i really like your videos. Could you cover Librum some day? I wonder how it differs from Serenity, which I'm using at the moment.

@
DroppedIceCream wich of these showcase mods would you recommend for someone that is installing for first time, & playting skyrim for the first time?
Elysium, LoTF or The Phoenix Flavour?
And you can still finish the main quest with this modlist and Phoenix Flavour right?

Thank you SO much for your informative videos :) <3

If one wants to play this game one needs to get the special edition ?its' safe?
I never played it. I remember 3 years ago making a maybe 15 20 mods list, checking many of them. But many advised me that some could conflict, even if checking them they told me maybe one could conflcit but not much.
How sithe game? Is it empty? Is it atmosferic? You walk places but there is nothing happening? or there is a strong story, strong sense of purpose and so on? What is the relation to characters?
Does it feel a bit like Elite dangeorus (aka: it's all about you to feel something by creating something meaningful in your head) or i'ts actually emanating this meaning by itself?
Watching the entry scene, well, if the game has that "mood" I feel it's really immersive.. but then watching videos of gameplay it seems a bit standard: talk and then combat sometimes .. places seem empty but mine is a very superficial understanding. I watched somevideos but maybe they betray what I should feel.. becuase they are taken in medias res of the experience...
Well If you can I'd like to hear from your Take care.

Animations here besides the good graphic and stuff seem pretty well aged. I don't know how the rest feels. Is it "slow" like playing dungeon and dragons table top game?

Is it easy to build on top of this and add whatever I want? Like EnaiRim overhauls, body replacers, followers, quests, etc.?
