11 Things You Can Do in City Folk But Not in New Leaf (Animal Crossing)

While this isn't a COMPLETE list of everything you can do in City Folk but not New Leaf, I chose some of the more interesting and useful features. Also, I didn't include features that basically required online play to be helpful--things like the auction house, the HRA model room, and voice chat. What features do you miss? And I got chased by a tarantula on July 4th, then broke down because I thought my character died when the tarantula caught up with me. Good times.

You can't see Frillard in New Leaf because between games he died. Shrunk hints at it when he teaches you an emotion previously taught by Frillard.

Man just seeing the city square brings back memories of how much I loved going there, listening to the music, watching Dr. Shrunk's shows, dreaming of buying gracie furniture, going behind the alley to find Redd's shack for art, getting my shoes shined by Kicks. Wonderful memories.

City folk is more nostalgic.
New leaf has lots more thing to do
City folk focuses on simplicity.
New leaf focuses on complexity.
