It's come time to sell my dream boat, Webo. I was hoping this day wouldn't come, but the Webo isn't going to be able to do what I want it to do. Even though it's a great boat, it's not a great crabbing boat because it drafts too much water. The Webo is the best built boat I've had and has a bunch of features that are not common in other boats. The craftsmanship is top notch! I hate to see it go, but it just means that there is another new boat on the horizon...

The world is a better place with this young man. Hardworking, morals, integrity and just plain good human thinking.

Sometimes the hard decision is making your problem someone else's problem, then finding more trouble to get into. Good luck Luke! Can't wait to see the new boat!

My brother had a 22ft 57 wood Owens, and he added more metal to the rutter. Without power stearing, he had a hard time turning the wheel. The next year, he cut it off and sold the boat, then bought a brand new 28ft, 12.5 ft beamed Hatteras in 1966. It was one of the smallest boats they ever made. It was fast but could spin around on a dime being twin screw. It was when they started converting over to fiberglass, and it was thick.

Ronnie Carman of Carman boats built me a 40ft deadrise glass over plywood. Fiberglassed the whole inside and outside. Had a 13 ft beam and I put a 3208/375 it. She'd cruise 19-20 knots all day and run top speed 22-23 knots depending on the tide.

So long Webo. I have zero doubt once you sell it. You will buy another. Addiction is addiction and its hard to pass on a great deal. Too bad im on the Pacific side of US. I know some captains out here that charter. That would love something like this. You stay safe out there Luke

The two happiest days of a captains life? The day he buys his boat and the day he sells her. Good luck Luke, Webo is a solid boat and a real value for someone out there.

As someone that’s from the Dena area, it’s awesome to see a crabber from the Stoney creek/Severn River area! Great channel!
