Years ago one of my nieces decided to buy an ink gun and let all her friends put any tattoos they wanted on her. Not one of her friends had any inking skill or artistic ability. How bad are they? Think kindergarten stick figures, unidentifiable objects, hideous color combinations, and obnoxious sayings. I almost cried the last time I saw her. Last I heard she had well over 100 friendship tatts.😢

But have to say…props for the detail! That is so photorealistic of a newborn.
Gave me chills to think of the meaning behind it.

My illiterate "X" Boyfriend got a Tattoo from his equally illiterate friend. He got it because his Mother called him "Soldier" which was what the Tattoo was SUPPOSED to read... Instead; (It was done in HUGE black lettering from armpit to elbow), it read; "SOLDER." ☺ From that day forward people ask him if he's a Welder.😉

The execution of the cross on the forehead was good, just an unfortunate placement. I guess the artist couldn't talk them out of it but at least it was well done!😂

I don’t understand the whole “ignorant style” of tattooing and prefer Japanese or American traditional, but to each their own. Anyone with a large collection of tattoos has at last one sh*tty piece. My very first piece is godawful and I makes every tattoo artist I’ve ever known laugh at me (supposed to be a black widow spider and, whilst recognizable as such, it’s crooked and asymmetrical.) I’ve had it since I was 17 and I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of it because it reminds me not to do stupid things 😂

I have a few cringe tattoos and am in the process of getting them laser removed. This Saturday will be my second session. Hurts like hell! They are too dark to try and cover, so I guess I will be seeing the tattoo removal place for a few years 😂

To cover up an awkward looking portrait tattoo, just add sunglasses, and perhaps a hint of red lipstick, especially if the eyes look a little not-quite right. How about turning the face into a sugar skull?
