The Jedi Academy is a paid junior talent internship program at Lucasfilm, Industrial Light & Magic, and ILM Immersive created for students and graduates. The program is a once in a lifetime experience to learn in a dynamic and creative production environment, focused on developing the next generation of diverse talent across art, public relations, and technology. I still have my rejection letter from Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) because it reminds me that not all dream jobs align with our destiny. The letter serves as my motivation to channel my skills towards independent filmmaking. Currently, I'm actively developing four original film projects, walking a path similar to George Lucas, but charting my own course away from Hollywood. To all Lucasfilm higher ups; let’s be clear on one thing none of you seemed to have picked up on, especially Kathleen Kennedy: THERE IS NO UNTAPPED MARKET! If there was, you wouldn’t have the steady declines in viewership that’s gotten progressively worse in the last two years. The Twitter clout chasers are never going support you financially. The Alcolyte WILL be a financial disaster. Stop preaching and start entertaining.
