What was the most memorable part of Chrono Trigger to you?

My favorite aspect of Chrono Trigger? The fact that I am now 32 years old and the music / game in general still brings tears to my eyes.

My 35 year old heart is so happy listening to this account of the story of Chrono Trigger. It's the one RPG I've replayed over and over throughout the years that have passed. Thank you for this amazing recount

My little brother thanked me for forcing him to play this game. I couldn’t let him miss out on this. I’m in my 40’s now and when my son’s reading comprehension (he’s only 4)is able to understand the game I’ll make him play it too. The game teaches you about love, ambition, sacrifice and death. The game is good enough to encourage reading. I hope all other dads do the same.

Nearly a quarter of a century later, I still think this is the best RPG ever.

Goddammit Robo possibly not existing still tears me up. All he wanted to do was be with his friends and he grew a forest for 400 years waiting for them. He’s the best

Man the story so deep, complex but not convoluted, perfectly balanced. Even better than many movies. Its a work of Art indeed, and here we are 2022 we still no remake to be made.

Chrono Trigger is and always shall be my favorite video game of all time. Simply a brilliant telling; even if some of the story notes can be a bit contradicting at times. In any case, this was brilliant to listen to and watch, bringing back happy memories of my times playing it. Also; I think its time I replay it again.

I just finished Chrono Trigger this 2020 and I really love the plot, characters, gameplay and everything about it! The time travel idea and how all events were connected was truly cleverly written. You can tell they totally put their heart and soul in this game :)

I was practicing my English and started to watch English content. When YouTube recommends me this video I never imagined the amazing history behind Chrono Trigger. I played it when I was a child but I couldn't understand nothing... Until this moment. Thank you for making this video :)

Wait, that's hilarious, I never realized that Chrono saving queen Leene created the same criminal justice system that would arrest him later, they even use the chancellor sprite...

The possibility of Robo being unmade by passing through the gate in the ending gutted me as a kid.

The fact that all of the story is approached by an observational perspective from the player with a minimized amount of exposition, gives the game an experience as having lived in the cycle of events rather than merely being a victim of circumstance.

If you never played chrono trigger before, and somehow see this comment before you see any major spoilers in this video, know you are missing out on the literal peak of rpg games as a whole

I finished my first ending a few hours ago, PC port, at 25 years old. There's no way I would've figured this game out as my kid self lol. The story is deep and goes on for ages. According to Steam I put 44 hours in just to get one ending...10+ more to go.
The music sticks to your heart too, like a Miyazaki movie soundtrack. I can't believe this much soul and creativity went into a game that's as old as me. Action games now might have the incredible graphics and AI...but bloated with all this instant satisfaction, dopamine-hit content where you're just faffing away with weapons instead of building a story from the ground up. I'm happy to have experienced the classic-ness of this game...even if I've been pronouncing "Chrono" incorrectly 😅

I remember playing this, my first rpg, while I was in 7th grade in 96. This game means so much to me. It’s weird a game can make a person feel so deeply.
