How did Purdy not compete when he took the Niners to OT against the greatest QB of this generation?!! He also had players getting injured left and right on the niners side. He's not responsible for the Special teams fuck up, or Mccaffrey's fumble, or Moody's missed XP. Like he led them to score and the niners just needed to stop Mahommes. If Moody kicked the ball higher like Romo pointed out, Niners woulda been on top.

When you blitz that much, you don’t respect brock’s vertical threat, which is pretty much a non-threat… brock was supposed to be the best against blitzes this season… what happened?

Brock was 12-18 for 131 yards and 1 TD pass and 0 INTs against the blitz. He played a great game, Mahomes is the best though.

A Purdy hater. He didn't miss an extra point, fumble, muff a punt. Let Patrick waltz down the field at the end. Kyle stopped running and needed to go for it on 4th and 3. Take time off the clock and not give Patrick so much time.

Brock Purdy played rock solid, better than any haters thought he would. Congrats to the Chiefs defense, they won the game. I can’t blame any of my 49ers, it just didn’t go our way.

To me, it was more that the 49s got out-coached, but it was obviously a close match of even teams. They had success when using McCaffrey first - as Romo pointed out repeatedly - and in the 2nd half they couldn't complete passes with the tight coverage and blitzes but kept doing it anyway. Doesn't everyone know by now that if the other team is blitzing, throw to where the blitz came from (but need a route to that spot), or throw screens, etc.? When 49s did that, they were successful, but they stopped. And Purdy gets some blame because he as QB needs to check to different block or options when he sees the blitz indicated, and sees defenders traveling with players in motion for man cover.

Chiefs out ran the miners with an all pro rb, their 1st team all pro te who is this legendary blocker had 4 yds. Mahomes had 399 total yds almost as much rushing himself as cmc. They over used cmc is was exhausted look at aiuk** Debo and kittles combined stats very under whelming. Chiefs defense proved they were the best in football.

The odd thing to me was the comment at the end of the broadcast that Purdy isn't a game manager but a game executor? Hmmm... Most of the offense was McCaffrey - when it worked.

If you look at Purdy's numbers vs pressure and blitz, it's at the top of the league. it only worked because of KS's DBs. They had Purdy's guys locked up

I keep seeing these analysts talking about how the Chiefs secondary will all be together next year too, but that may not be the case. L’Jarius Sneed is a free agent this year, and I'm really worried the Chiefs won't be able to afford him, especially when they're trying to keep Jones too, and we have multiple other members of the secondary, like McDuffie who they'll be needing to pay as well before too much longer. Chiefs Kingdom's dream is to be able to bring back both Sneed and Jones, but we'll be lucky if they manage to keep one of them, even if a rather intoxicated Jones was screaming at the parade today how he wasn't going anywhere else and would back in KC next year. Hope it's true, but I'll believe it when I see it, for both of these guys.

It was the offensive line. We lost our right tackle and they kept attacking that side. It was not Purdy, Purdy handled the pressure better. However you can’t play when the best player is coming at you.
