The Kansas City Chiefs defense and their defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo trapped Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers offense in a nightmare throughout Super Bowl 58, that they could not, and did not escape. How did the Chiefs do it? And what was so wrong with what Shanahan did? This week’s episode uses the coaches all 22 to analyze the San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan’s struggles in Super Bowl 58.

_Steve Spagnuolo is now a top 3 defensive coordinator in NFL history._

Spagnoulo said after the game he made an adjustment to take away the crossing routes even though that would leave them vulnerable to the running game and tight end. Kyle Shanahan played right into his hands by abandoning the run and not targeting Kittle.

This goes a long way to explaining why Aiyuk was so upset after the game that he could hardly talk and his girlfriend posting that it they may be saying bye to Levi Stadium for the last time.

The Chiefs really showed their ability to make in-game adjustments and capitalize on opportunities. Shanahan needs to work on his improvisation skills for sure. 🔥

Hell of a game from Chris Jones. Patience is running out from the fan base. (49ers) Look Kyle has turned this team around no question. But I really do believe he takes the offensive genius title to heart. It’s about the little details that wins you games. He trusts his original game plan too much, and usually it has his team winning but when they’re losing they usually never come back. Basically what I’m saying is that Kyle is not good at improvising.

Funny How Shanahan didn't realize that Ayuik has emerged as inarguably one of the best number 1 Receiver in the game.

Purdy is still having nightmares of Chris Jones

The 49ers are the only team who doesn’t realize Brandon Aiyuk’s greatness

Shanahan's biggest issue is a lack of humility. He's a smart coach and great offensive mind, but his arrogance and unwillingness to admit his mistakes (and learn from them) holds him back from being a great head coach, leader and, ultimately, super bowl champion.

Kyle Shanahan and Mike McDaniels are great playcallers. But it seems like their biggest problem is that they tend to outplay themselves.

Shanahan embarrassed the Niners more than anyone

I'm a big Shanahan fan but this dude had the gaul to fire Steve Wilks when he was the one who cost the Niners this Superbowl

Better coaching staff beat the better roster.

Spags has been the dog in every Superbowl he has won. He is a mastermind in throwing a wrench in your blocking scheme and creating havoc, and frustration. Every team the Chiefs play say they are gonna run the ball, yet none of them can do it. it has been amazing to watch. Pat & Travis gets all the glory so it's good to see people recognizing the D.

Incredible to see Chris Jones sniffing out the run like a blood hound when just a couple years ago you'd see him break into the backfield then do his best imitation of the John Travolta Pulp Fiction meme.

Great analysis! There's more to an NFL game than meets the eye.

3 of the 7 come backs of 10 points or more in the superbowl belong to Kyle shanahan. His playcalls aren’t why they win they’re why they lose. Vikings exposed this group mid season and shanahan made zero adjustments. If we excuse this failure it’s destined to happen again.

*This video tells me two things about my 49ers:*

1. Deebo Samuel doesn’t have much of a future on the team
2. The O Line needs to be finally prioritized
