RAREST WEAPONS IN DESTINY 1

Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 have some pretty rare loot. Here are the rarest weapons from Destiny 1. Most of these weapons can no longer be obtained in Destiny 1 so if you have them, feel lucky!

I really miss D1 year 1, we knew so little about exotics that it was crazy when one of your friends got this new crazy weapon none of you had ever seen yet. Good times.

Bruh this entire video was just a massive wave of nostalgia for me. I’ve been playing since it initially released and out of all the weapons you listed, I only failed to get the queen weapons (I got grounded and couldn’t grind for them). I also remember the og felwingers lie with shot package and efrideet’s spear with that final round perk which allowed it to one shot body. Watching your video really took me back and I really miss these days. D2 is a great game and I’ve been loving the story but there’s just something about the loot in d1 that felt so much better to acquire. Thanks for the video it really takes me back and put a smile on my face. Also, at 6:40, I miss these self res battles lol.

I love that in destiny 1 even in old gameplay you can tell that we felt powerful without being so over top broken that bosses had to be built around us

While I miss this rarity in D1 im kinda torn about if it should be implemented In D2. Aside from the fact Exotics now days are so easy to get, I’m thinking that when I was a teen playing D1 I had all the time in the world to run VOG but now, as an adult, I barely have time to get a team together. Nostalgia really hits hard man...

I remember getting ghally and necrochasm. For ghally, I had finished a nightfall and and got the usual ascendant energy/shards. Dissapointed, I tried my luck at the exotic chest for crotas end since it was during the first encounter. Luck smiled on me as I got ghally from the chest. Who needs nightfalls anyway?

As for crux, it dropped on my third hard mode run along with monte carlo (an exotic I did not have yet)

Don't forget, the husk of the pitt was bugged after the house of wolves dlc drop and wasn't fix until Y3. If you are wondering what the bug was, it was basically extreme low drop rates and you can only get it from that one mission.

My Gally story is pretty unique. I got into the game with The Taken King but for some reason I was obsessed with collecting the old year one loot. It was during a two man of Crota's End just for fun, before they brought it back, and I got it from the exotic chest. My raid mate literally left the raid and we never did finish. I loved the hell out of it for rerunning Skolas and Crota for those sweet shaders until it was brought back

Ok so the year is 2014-2015 i don't exactly remember. I'm going through the nightfall with my friends and it's Omnigul. Right before we kill her my mom yells at me to come have lunch. I tell my friends that I'm hopping off but that i'll be back really quickly, and told them to let me know if I got any good loot from the strike. So I start inhaling my food like I'm Matt Stonie off 4 percs, much to my moms dismay; and hop back on the game. I remember perfectly that I said: "Yo i'm back what'd I get, " instantly my friends start screaming: "YOU GOT PATIENCE AND TIME YOU GOT PATIENCE AND TIME." I start going crazy cuz I really wanted that exotic. However, I had also gotten a legendary heavy engram, which I didn't exactly care about given the fact that I had just gotten the Patience and Time. So we fly back to the tower in good spirits, and dragging some hard earned loot. As I'm going through my vault to make room for my new Patience and Time, I remember that I have that legendary engram. So I take my little 5th grade ass to Rahul, to decrypt that shit. I hit A on my Xbox controller and boom... Gjallarhorn. I died that day. My 10 year old mind couldn't take the levels of insanity and rarity. I scream at the top of my lungs: "GJALLARHORN!!!, ." My friends think I'm trolling at first but then they realize i'm not joking. We all go crazy for 10 minutes straight. That remains the luckiest I have ever been. Destiny 1 was my game man, I loved that shit.

I will never EVER forget when my Gally dropped in a random crucible game. I loved that it was insanely rare but in the global loot pool so anyone could get it at any moment. It made the loot hunt so exciting

i've been trying really hard to get back into d2 lately, but seeing videos like this reminds me why i don't feel the same love i did in d1. that game was just so DIFFERENT!!! seeing that queens wrath event took me back to a time i wish i never left

I remember having a Coiled Hiss 1919 pulse rifle during the Crota DLC with full auto perk and a really high stability stat; this was back when pulse rifles weren't particularly good with the lowest DPS of the primary weapons. I wished I could have saw what it was capable of in a post-pulse rifle buff environment.

I also got my first Gjallarhorn from Atheon! It was on Christmas day 2014 so it was the perfect present! As for the Queen's Wrath, I still regret dismantling all my weapons, at least I still have the chest & mask for my hunter :') & The Messenger was my go to rifle for so long!! I'd always use it to counter the thorn back in the day aha, to this day I still use it in PvP whenever I log on & play, it's just so smooth.

Man, I really miss 2014/2015 when everything was so new..

I'm so happy I can say I have most of the weapons on this list. I remember my friends having a cult like ritual to try and get the Crux which I never cared about but I was the first of my friend group to get it and subsequently the nechrochasm. I was also so proud of my praetorian foil i would grind vogs any and every time I could for a chance at one. I don't regret it at all

I love D1 faction vendors they all had some really nice weapons and legendary gear to be bought if you soo choose, and the perks gets randomly rolled on them every week. Faction vendors actually had a purpose back then.

I've been playing since the release as a Warlock and I was there for Xur to sell the Gjallarhorn on the 2nd week. So I was at the tower with my Titan and Hunter friends and they both picked their relevent exotic armor pieces, I wasn't really taken by the Sunbreakers, so I spent my strange coins on the only reasonable choice, not long after I had realised what an absolute powerhouse that this rocket launcher was and so did the community!

From now to this day (to my Fireteams annoyance) the Gjallarhorn has been my most common Exotic drop with me acquiring it of stupid number of 26 times!
