Some of the most famous raid weapons from the original Vault of Glass have already made their way back into Destiny 2, but we’re still missing a few epic ones. And as we see more old raids make their way back into Destiny 2, there’s a pretty high chance that we’ll see some favorite weapons make a big return.

I can see Necrocasm being really powerful for Shadebinders. Especially with Whisper of Rending.

i hope to all things holy that ice breaker stays in d1 where it belongs, it would IMMEDIATELY become the absolute top meta pick for anything crucible because of regenerating ammo and with all the damage increase sources we have available would become an absolute monster. crucible as we know it would be further more a dumpster fire if ice breaker would ever return

I REALLY want Dreg’s Promise back. It was super fun to use, and Bungie could definitely rework it to be a bit more powerful within the idea of what it was meant to do.

I wish Khvostov or Zhalo Supercell would come back. They were my favorite Exotic Auto Rifles. I would settle for a legendary Khvostov. Just loved the look and feel of it.

I would love to see Fabian Strategy return with a souped-up Threat Detector. I don't think it was ever given a proper chance in D1 after Bungie's 5-year-long kneejerk reaction to Suros Regime.

Red Death was my favorite exotic in D1. I still like Crimson, but it simply does not have that same feel that Red Death did, and I would love to see it return.

Boolean Gemini would be my number one choice to bring back. That thing just slayed.

No Lands Beyond would be my #1 pick to bring back. I solely used that weapon for everything after finally unlocking it. I used it the entire last year and a half of Destiny before 2 was released.

• Increased Precision damage, & Ignition radius based on the number of “Quantum Charge” stacks you have before your next shot.
• Picking up special ammo slowly generates ammo, over time.


*PVE:*
• Minor Combatants: 1.25 seconds.
• Major Combatants: 5.0 seconds.
• Boss Combatants: 5.0 seconds.


*PVP:*
• Guardians: 2.5 seconds.


*SPECIAL AMMO PICKUP:*
• Ammo Brick PvE: 5.0 seconds.
• Ammo Brick PvP: 2.5 seconds.
• Heavy Ammo w/Catalyst: 2.5 seconds.


• It takes 2.5 seconds to regenerate one round of ammunition into the magazine, after a kill. This benefit increases in PvP - based on the number of “Sniper Rifle Scavenger” mods you’re using. In PvE; killing combatants will activate the timer.


• In PvE, only a few bullets will be granted within the span on 2.5 seconds, meaning you’ll need to kill multiple enemies to acquire ammo.


• Picking up special ammo will grant you a desirable amount of rounds in PvE & PvP, but still require 2.5 seconds to generate.


*EXOTIC PERK: (Quantum Combustion)*
• Precision final blows with Ice Breaker cause enemies to spontaneously Ignite, dealing massive scorch damage to nearby combatants.
• Stack benefit dissipates, after the first shot, or if the player dies.


*QUANTUM COMBUSTION IN-GAME:*
• Text presented as “Quantum Charge 1x - 20x”.
• Ammo Regain text presented alongside “Quantum Charge 1x: 05:00”.
• Guardian final blows = 2 stacks of “Quantum Charge”.
• PvE Combatant final blows = 1 stack of “Quantum Charge”.


*EXOTIC CATALYST: (Nano Phoenix)*
• +19 Handling.
• Lead From Gold
• Increases Quantum Charge stacks of 10x to 20x.


*CATALYST REQUIREMENTS: (1/3 choices)*
• Complete 1 Grandmaster Nightfall, Using Ice Breaker.
• Defeat 200 Combatants.
• 100 Guardians.


*PvP SANDBOX:*
• 1 round will generate into the magazine after 2.5 seconds — when you secure a primary weapon final blow.
• PvP players will respawn with 1 ammo, in all PvP playlists. Requires kinetic final blows to generate ammo, or special ammo pickup. One kill activates the timer, and within 2.5 seconds; your ammo will be added into the magazine.
• primary final blows will generate 1 round into ice breaker. Additional rounds are only granted, when picking up special ammo or securing final blows.

I think Necrochasm has the potential to be the literal Sunshot of Auto Rifles.
The only 900rpm auto rifle in the game, having basically Sunshot's explosion perks but it's cursed thrall explosions instead (paired with a new subclass element that would be its damage type?), something genuinely unique.

okay, hear me out on icebreaker. increased damage to frozen targets. killing frozen targets generates 1 ammo per kill. also comes with elemental capacitor to really sell it as a stasis weapon, but can get some cool synergy with arc or void as well and encourage a bit more team coordination on freezing people

I used to made Jade Rabbit and Iron wreath D and switch to Tlaloc when I got my super.

Just about any of these returning would be great for D2 rn, just not Icebreaker as said cuz of it being a more annoying version of Revoker. Especially rn with the special ammo economy in pvp (same as Invective). Also love Plan C, but would hate it in D2 as fusions are already nasty in pvp, and rather not have another Main Ingredient situation lol

I would love to see red death coming back to de, it will ever be my favorite weapon in destiny and the crimson doesn't worth that much to replace it for me..
