The RTX 5090 is INSANE. You Probably Shouldn't Buy It.

I got my hands on NVIDIA's monster $2,000 RTX 5090 GPU and things got weird when we decided to build it into a Roboraptor case. Beyond the jokes though, this card is pushing some serious boundaries with DLSS 4 Super Resolution and Multi Frame Generation that took Cyberpunk 2077 from 32 FPS to a mind-bending 370 FPS. Whether that's worth two grand is another story, but the tech here is absolutely wild.

The 5090 just further shows nvidia isn't dedicated to gamers at this point. The 5090 is clearly meant for productivity as the main course and gaming on the side. The only reason I'm thinking of getting one down the road is for 3d rendering, video editing etc.

32 fps without inserting fake frames... Y I K E S. At this point it seems that graphics in games in AAA are becoming unsustainable and unattainable, be it because of the engine (ue5 specifically), the lack of optimization, etc.😅

$2000 for a graphics card is so stupid. NVIDIA recorded record profits last year and now they’re going to claim that this is a “reasonable price”. The sad thing is there’s so many stupid people who are going to buy this right off the rip because they want to have the newest thing. I know most people won’t need a 5090 but it’s ridiculous that all of the 50 series cards have that much of a price increase

I love all the comments on how they will stick to their rtx4090 ti while it cost 2500 to 4000$ dollars to buy it. That card it gold right know. Trust me from a person that still plays with a 1070 and still waiting to upgrade.
