Why Boruto Is Hated

hello and welcome back to another video today we will be going over a few reasons why I think the Boruto anime is hated. In my opinion, the biggest reason it gets so much hate is that it's not what the naruto fanbase wanted there was so much hype around what people thought Naruto's son would be like and I feel a lot of people were let down. Personally, I think the anime is okay like very average but maybe with some time, it will grow into something good. Anyways thank you so much for watching this video I hope you enjoy.

Boruto Synopsis (all credit goes to my anime list)

Following the successful end of the Fourth Shinobi World War, Konohagakure has been enjoying a period of peace, prosperity, and extraordinary technological advancement. This is all due to the efforts of the Allied Shinobi Forces and the village's Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki. Now resembling a modern metropolis, Konohagakure has changed, particularly the life of a shinobi. Under the watchful eye of Naruto and his old comrades, a new generation of shinobi has stepped up to learn the ways of the ninja.

Boruto Uzumaki is often the center of attention as the son of the Seventh Hokage. Despite having inherited Naruto's boisterous and stubborn demeanor, Boruto is considered a prodigy and is able to unleash his potential with the help of supportive friends and family. Unfortunately, this has only worsened his arrogance and his desire to surpass Naruto which, along with his father's busy lifestyle, has strained their relationship. However, a sinister force brewing within the village may threaten Boruto's carefree life.

It's a stinker, but amn it had the best fight of the series with the Iconic Naruto + Sasuke vs Alien guy.

The problem with Boruto for me. For as much of it as I watched with my wife(we both love Naruto), was the ridiculous power scaling from such an early stage(at least Naruto saved that for later). Naruto never gimped characters like Madara, or Hashirama or Minato. Yes the show was called Naruto but, we had so many wonderful characters to root for like Itachi, Sasuke, Gara, guy sensei, Kakashi, even pain. I don't feel the same way while watching Boruto. I know it's a different age, new generations are always more talented than previous gen, even more so with science and technology as shown in the show but, the implementation I feel of that technology was more akin to almost DBZ androids level stuff and where it works for DBZ, for the ninja world it kinda felt ridiculous because time scaling is not there. At least the androids in DBZ were time traveling.

As a boruto fan, the show is not perfect but man, the naruto fan base has been acting completely ignorant to the story progression of naruto as a whole.
I get they want the 1000IQ fights and shit but that'll never happen the way they want it anymore...
It's a relatively peaceful time compared to OG naruto where alliances were a dime a dozen then.
Naruto achieved his goal, what else do they want?

Idk maybe I'm a simpleton but yea.
