I swear this is exactly what I was looking for, I'm doing a short Star Wars series and needed this kind of space ship design...will give a shout out to you in production!!!

I agree with MightyMage2 about Blender. It's full featured, free, well supported, always being added to, and there are plenty of great tutorials out there for it. It's more user friendly than it used to be, but there's still a learning curve. It's what I use.

Space ship
The main parts of the space ship
(1) Main gyro
(2) anti gravity equilization and pitch and yaw (gyro's 4 )
(3) lazer to vaporize the mercury stear ship
(4) Liner motor to keep the mercury spining

By using gyro with mercury as the outer mass
First spin the mercury to1, 000 to 4, 000 R.P.M.s
Then generate a foward movement.
By vaporizing the mercury from one area of main gyro
Causes the ship to move in the direction 180° from the point of vaporization of mercury from the edge of gyro
Their are 4 other gyros spaced at 90° from center of the main gyro
On the outer edge of the ship each is turned 90°
in relationship to the main gyro.

The gyros are used to eliminated the effects of gravity on the vessel.
Also to Be used as a way of producing pitch and yaw.

Each gyro is equipted with its own lazer system to balance uplift and direction.

Some LED's in the corners where the foam sheets are taped together wouldn't hurt. It would really finish that spacey feel.

I don't care how old this video is. I'm building my spaceship and I've been using putty, posterboard and wire from the ceiling to get that geometric shape.

Love this! what type of company had a hard time getting rid of foam core? Would like to try and save on budget and get some for free as well.

The philosophical debate with that last nuke was one of the funniest things I've ever seen in a film. If you want to get a good laugh, watch "The Carrier" (1988) here on youtube. The film was supposedly made by the people of some small town in Michigan I believe.
