Fun fact: the soviet union built most of the factories of Moldova în Transnistria. Keeping Moldova mainly agricultural while Transnistria was heavily industrialised

I know this country for their soccer team. Sheriff Tiraspol FC, they beat Real Madrid a couple months ago. The first “Moldovan” soccer team to qualify for the champions league and probably the first soccer team to qualify from a unrecognized country

Very interesting country, I found out about it when I was stationed in Romania for a bit and it was our “assignment”. I would love to visit one day

I am from Moldova and I visited Transnistria once. They have their own banknote "Leu" and I felt like I was in a different country(tho back then I thought it was like 100% part of Moldova), but it still has similar things like in our country.

I visited Moldova with my husband in the summer of 2018. It was interesting and much better than I thought it would be. During our stay, we took a private tour of Transnistria and it felt like being in a different country in a different era. Entering wasn’t a problem. Just a 10-15 minute wait to get our day visa. We didn’t find the locals to be as unfriendly as this video stated.

Question: Who is your narrator and how is he so good at it?

Idk if you’ll read this but thank you for every video you’ve done and for everything I’ve learned because of this channel. My fiancé died on February 23 exactly a month away from her turning 21 and 5 months pregnant. We use to always like always watch your channel and 2 others but yours was always the go to channel bc she was such a nerd a beautiful smart young women and she loved to learn new things.I just wanna say thank you for all the memories you gave me with her 💔 as I looked back at old videos not only do I remember them but the memories and the conversations and sometimes arguments and we even did a bf and gf challenge like you and your gf we chained each other for 2 days we planned for 3 but going to the bathroom was a issue and my job 😂 but that amazing memory was made because of you and so many others this channel has helped me learn and be able to be opened minded abt so many subjects I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done for me and her. If she was here right now she’d probably would be telling you abt that challenge right now 🖤 HaleysWorld4Ever🖤

I love this country, I'm planning on visiting soon. I've been so interested by its history and can't wait to visit the "country that doesn't exsist"

I visited this place in 2021. It was very clean, the people were surprisingly friendly and helpful.
A random guy brought me with his car from the city center to the bus station (for free).
Most young people (under 35) speak decent english, contrary to Odessa Ukraine.
Girls are hot.

However, there was 1 weird situation. I took a picture of a sculpture. It was resembling a colorful horse and a random guy got really nervous and told me I had to go away very fast.
Guess there are weird people everywhere.

And I really loved the supermarkets.
They have products from russia, holland Italy and many other random European countries and it is very cheap for westerners.

I can highly recommend this country to anyone who wants a special experience. Just don't stay too long.
Chisinau is a lot more international with a crazy nightlife, culture, history and the same quality of women...

I love learning about Transnistria. It’s crazy, over the last 2 weeks I’ve had several videos on Transnistria uploaded from my favorite channels

I am Romanian and I am proud of my country, but what you need to know is that Moldova, the country that you know as an independent country, is a Romanian territory( We have the same language the same habits we are brothers) for which so many Romanians died in prisons in camps in Siberia to embrace all our brothers. and all the sisters, but unfortunately nothing is superior to the wickedness the Russians had with us. I can't tell you how I can feel from the position of Romanian citizen on the one hand the pride of looking at the past and seeing my ancestors who fought for this country and who died everywhere for this country but also with the other eye I cry when I see that we have been hit, destroyed and always killed and no one has given us a chance the only time we thought we would open was the Revolution against the Communists but unfortunately it did not end as it should be free.
From what I have written here I would like to emphasize how much harm Russia has been able to bring to our country but also not to complain I know what I have to do I will fight for my country as my ancestors fought but that does not mean that they can turn their backs on the injustices they have done to our country
The country that does not exist, Transnistria is a region where communists inoculated the people with their ideology and killed real Romanians who were against them as they usually did, I in your place I would be glad that my country did not go through communism I would not wish anyone such a tragic destiny in which all the intelligent people of the country are killed and replaced by people with 4 classes such as "the great and beloved Ceausescu".
To understand what I wrote here you have to read history not the history of the victors because history is written the way they want it but history in general to see the atrocities behind their lies and understand everything they say.
Towards the end I would like to say BASARABIA is Romania, Long live Greater Romania.

With all those foreign/obscure countries, I'm sure you could have thrown in Kekistan and no one would be the wiser.

Very great video, accurately explains their situation. But I have a little bit of criticism: could the maps be more accurate? In some places of the video it shows Tiraspol in Romania or Bulgaria, a bunch of other things are misplaced too

It is actually really easy to visit Transnistria. You just have to pass the border and get your visa that's it. 10 years ago you had to renew it every week at a military or police station but they got rid of that. People are really happy to see tourist over there. I visit Transnitria every year because my grandmother lives there and I only had one encounter with the police. He asked what german is doing in Transnistria and recommended some restaurants to me. Kumanek and Craft have awesome food

I Visited on a trip to Ukraine, Slovakia, and Moldova a few years ago. It was actually a pretty cool visit if you’re going to be in the area. Everyone was very friendly and I had some awesome tiramisu there 😋
