Kevlar arms were unnecessary but kevlar pants/leggings are going to become more common if drone warfare continues on the track its on

We used the groin protector and we had a neck protector
A staff seargent showed us a scar on his chin that if it wasn't for the neck protector a bombs fragments would have hit in the neck and not only his chin

I deployed in the kevlar arms and crotch guards era, but by the end of deployment everybody had dropped them off their IOTV. It is more about the heat to me, than the weight. To fricking hot when you are in the 115 degree temps.

They didn't have the groin protection when I was in and I remember hearing about how many guys lost their packages, so I would wear one

Not sure how true, but my buddy said the new modern groin straps they got are pretty manageable… I think he might’ve bought his own tho.

In the British army we had Kevlar lined underwear this was known as tier 1. The combat nappy which was tier 2 was horrible to wear. But I personally know 1 guy who lost. His legs and half an arm. But because he was wearing the combat nappy his manhood survived. Excellent bloke gav was when I knew him before the incident. Always think about him.

I feel like I would use the groin protector, the fact it exist prove that it was needed.

I'm hoping the military develop UNSC style marine armour, aside from titanium composite being incredibly effictive I just know it would be amazing. I know it is possible too as *'Installation 00'* is developing ODST armour.

Groin protection is more important to me than my shoulders. I don’t want to get my junk shot off. I’ll hunt someone down for that and get revenge.

I used the growing protector and shoulder protector as a turret gunner. I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t use it. It’s comfortable but worth it.

Let me say as an avid metal armor user, shoulders are a PITA. Making, wearing, or maintaining them.
And if you're curious what metal armor has to do with Kevlar, modern armor is following Medieval armor in fast forward.
Groin plates work great, but they need to be hung above the hips, so it moves with your abs.

I think most camouflages work when they're "dirty". It's not an argument un it's favour.

Knee and arm pads are the worst, no matter how hard I strap them on they always come off, I was like f it and stopped using them
