Dad: Go tell your brothers and sisters it's time to leave for church.
Kids: wow, I guess I'm a preacher now!

Comprehension seems to be difficult for this generation

My father told me that a man who lies to himself has no problem telling lies to others. This man wants to believe a lie so he gets on social media and tries to get others to go along. This is how heresy spreads through a congregation.

Women can’t be pastors. Teachers of the word yes but pastors no.

There are many ways to serve in church!!!

"To serve, " is a general term. To be a pastor is a specific duty.

All pastors are called to serve, but not all who serve are called to be a pastor.

Women were the original teachers... We teach our children. We are the core of the home.

The truth is that Christ had established the roles in the Church this way, similar to different instruments playing in an orchestra. There were roles that Christ had in mind for women in particular. For example, they played a key role in the spread of the Gospel, being the first to spread the news of the risen Christ(as referenced in the video). They were also allowed to pray and prophesy in church (1 Cor. 11:1–16), but they were not to assume the function of teaching in the Christian assembly (1Cor. 14:34–38; 1 Tim. 2:1–14), which was restricted to the clergy.

A Bible teacher on YouTube named Mike Winger (correction) has like around 20 hrs of teaching on this subject. He does a great job studying the scripture and looking at what it actually says, no what he wants it to say. It's a really amazing study for anyone who wants to check it out.

In a book I was reading, they pointed out that women misinterpreting the passages regarding women being pastors (or priests) disqualifies them from the very position they seek. Women are so important in the church why must we keep pushing to be up front like that would finally validate us? Find a godly husband, have lots of babies, raise them in the fear and admonition of the Lord, build God's kingdom, take care of your family and community well! Actually strive to achieve being the Proverbs 31 woman!!

1 Timothy 2:12-15
King James Version
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

When Paul told women to stay quiet in temple was because in Jewish culture women sat in the back of temple seperate from the men. They would raise their voice to ask their own husbands questions. Women didn't get educated like males and were hungry for the word. Jesus called a woman to the front of temple. He was the greatest liberator of woman. Deborah was also a Judge, warrior and prophet over Isreal. Acts 18:25-26 says they both taught Apollos about the baptism of the Holy Ghost. The bible puts her name first in the pairing to draw attention to her.

Deacon was used for "servant". Deacon is one who serves without authority and preaching to a congregation. He needs to go learn Greek.

I don't think it's a sin for a woman to preach but I am very uncomfortable with the idea, I won't go to a church with a female preacher. Teachers are another story, but only men should lead a church - or a family, for that matter...and I say that as a single mom, probably _because_ I'm a single mom.

Looking around, I can see EXACTLY why God said that, too.

One of the reasons is that men have to put their life on the line to protect the church, we don't want women to be exposed to that

The women that Paul was writing to and about were married. All women are not subordinate to all men; only wives unto their own husbands.

In Romans 16 it says she was well known among the Disciples. I am well known among many preachers and I serve in the church. But I am not a preacher or a Deacon. The word Deacon meant servant. And yes before the church was organized with its standards they had lady Deacons which were servants. But after Paul wrote down the qualifications of Pastors and Deacons and Elders and Bishops there have been no Lady Deacons or in any other position. But now people think they know more than when the Bible was actually written.
