Drift HD - HD Ghost mounting on BMW R1200GS with RAM mounts

Looking at the method I use to attach my Drift Hd cameras on my BMW R1200GS with RAM mounts....

Excellent setup, I do love a gadget. I have made an extendable pole to mount my Drift, GoPro and the new Nextbase Rider, this is mounted on my givi rack brackets with the RAM fixings and the pole is extended (looks like a dodgem car a bit :-) ) and this gives me excellent birds eye view footage, as well as my headcam and the gopro. The advantage of tthe Nextbase Rider is that it is mains battery powered, and comes on when the bike ignition is on and turns off when the bike is turned off. The other good thing is that the Rider has a rechargeable battery which is great for an hours recording. I leave this on when I park up in the services as the anti theft device is superb. It gives you an idea of who looks at your bike when you are inside having a brew, loop recording or what I do if I am on a ride out with family is to change the sd card every few hours to keep a full record of your ride, you always see something on the footage you missed. And not forgetting the Rider cam is infra red, excellent night time footage, it is basically a dash cam for the bike and all in great 1080P HD recording....

Great vid for showing us your camera setup I have an idea that I have just started to use on my bike.... I have the BMW 1200 gs and use the tag feature all the time using the remote with the drift ghost HD camera.... Now you have to mount the remote on the handle bar or handlebar bag or even the clutch or brake reservoir using the strap on the remote... I found that using this method you had to take your hand off the left grip and push the record button every time you wanted to capture the footage.... I have a new more convenient location for this now which is quicker and safer ... I will have to take a picture or make a video to show you and see what you think ....

I love that Ram/Drift hybrid mount.  Might have to look into that.  Thanks.
