Reese is OVER performing expectations and Clark is UNDER performing expectations. Remember they said she was going to be the GOAT entering into the league. Also, Mitchell, Boston, Smith, and Wheeler can win games without Clark, the Sky needs Angel to win so Angel is making more of a difference for her team as well. Angel Reese has a plus/minus of 1.8 which ranks number one among rookies. Caitlin Clark has a plus/minus of -5.9 which ranks 6th among rookies. Reese has a player impact estimate of 13.0 which ranks first among rookies. Clark has a PIE of 11.2 which ranks 2nd. Reese has a player efficiency rating of 19.3 which is 1st among rookies. Clark has a PER of 16.1 which is 2nd. So, Reese is leading in a lot of measurements that are irrespective of their respective roles and positions. Clark is leading by far in true shooting percentage at 57.1 which is 1st among rookies (Reese’s is 47.3 which is last among rookies), but Reese has a slight edge in their actual field goal percentage (39.7 to 39.1). Of course Reese is running away with it when it comes to rebounds and Clark is doing something similar with assists, but because those are a part of their distinct roles and positions, you can’t draw a direct comparison.

I am a new WNBA and Indiana Fever fan and admittedly watch some of the Caitlin Clark videos, but although retired I have a life and get tired of You Tube showing many on CC. A week ago I "Googled" here on You Tube "Caitlin Clark" and FORTY Caitlin Clark videos appeared...c'mon. Clark pulls up from the parking lot to make shots, leads the league in assists which is making her teammates better, one of the top rebounder guards. She also sets record breaking ticket sales and drives prices to go up. There is no debate. Reeses game is restricted to 5 ft of the rim. She gets blocked more than anyone I've ever seen.
