It is been a few month I have had the Shimoda 60L Photography Adventure Bag, does it live up to the hype? Is it truly an adventure bag?

Hey Fadi, thank you for making this video! A few notes on the product and packing... 1) good to see your sleeping bag technique, I do the same with both my tent and sleeping bag or anything of similar style. 2) You can use the Core Unit Skin to keep your smaller items organized, that is one of the main reasons I made them. 3) your chair... just by coincidence I was in the same factory with the fellow who developed that chair a handful of years back. I am not sure if you know the history behind those but they are engineered by some very qualified folks (DAC Pole) and manufactured by one of the best (IMO) factories around. It is a very good product, and good to see that product become such a success. - Thank again, Ian

Exactly why I chose the 60L over the 40L. I would suggest that you tuck the sleeping bag into a fully waterproof stuff sack, especially if it’s going to sit next to a bladder that could potentially leak. Wet down is useless. Nice job Fadi.

Hi Fadi, I hope you can help me. I am buying a 60L and got the life if me I can't figure out what inserts to buy. You can buy a kit with two small but it seems like it really wants a medium and a small. Can you elaborate on what cubes for in the 60L. Thanks so much.

Very interesting video. Amazing how this bag can contain so much stuff! I lately bought a Vanguard alta sky 49, but it is limited to photo gear only, I will definitely consider this kind of bag for hiking and camping. Thank you for your very nice and useful demo. Cheers.

Fun video which made me interested in this bag, too. One thing I would like to ask: with all your things packed in the bag, it is heavy, and does the adjustable-shoulder-straps could handle the weight? I saw photos of the adjustable area and they seems just thin lines on the back panel

Great demonstration. I am not sure you want to put your down sleeping bag next to your water bladder. If the bladder leaks, your down bag will get wet.

This is my first camera backpack and I am very excited. I look forward to hearing how soon it will get here.
I almost bought an F-stop pack, but I've heard that the Shimoda is much more comfortable to pack and I like the ideas that have gone into its design. Shimoda better be built sturdy and with high quality.
