One way to distort a right view of the Savior is through idoloatry. An idol cannot depict the divinity {θειότης} of God with its corruptible material.

Even a so called painting of Jesus undermines the divinity of Jesus by twisting the humanity of Jesus. This is done by taking {John 1:14} & {Collosians 1:15} out of context.

The speaker offers his opinion basing it on the bible. its an overreaching assumption that the bible and/ or"new testament" is the only rule of faith to be used as a standard to compare the validity of other cults or religions, the term cult does not necessarily bear a negative connotation by the way, Mass is a cult for example..look it up... Catholicism  has been called the true church, and it is.... for catholics, and so on with each group espousing its own literature... the truth its whatever you happen to believe and practice at any given time, its important to deem Dr.  Busenitz an scholar, provided he presents an unbiased view point, otherwise he becomes  a partisan. To one and all,  do not be dissuaded by nomenclature, search until you find what the truth is for you.. no one of mortal nature can save you, except yourself.. most humble and respectfully yours .. a simple aspirant.
