The issue is 15mph. Had they set the limit at a reasonable number people wouldnt need to modify them.

Thing is a normal push bike can go a lot faster than 15.5mph but in an ebike your more likely to ride at 15.5 for the assistance it gives. Its dangerous to limit the speed like that because you cant keep up with traffic around you. Needs to be at least 20mph like in most countries. My ebike is legal but if could id add a throttle or increase the speed as current laws are so outdated
