Fractal Brain (Fractal Brain Circuit Loops with Cody Rall MD)

In order to understand ourselves, we must understand the natural world. Recent advances in physics have revealed repeating patterns in geometrical space. In this talk, I look into the exciting world of fractals and see how we can apply fractal theory to our everyday lives. We will start with the founding father of modern fractal theory, Benoit Mandelbrot, then move into specific brain fractal theories by modern researchers Wai Tsang and Buzsaki. Thank you Cody for sharing this! I would like to use Mandelbrot set for tracking evolution of knowledge about a specific discipline... Till now I was focused on the softwar of mind (culture and organization) but of course integrating with hardware (brain circuit) it will be more interesting to find the mandelbrot fractals for mapping knowledge evolution... Without the magic of mushrooms....This would have escaped me. I've seen the fractals first hand and the representation of Order out of chaos...The true nature of reality...Only mathematics can truly explain it. Anything less and you get religion/philosophy.   If consciousness could create alternate universes based on thoughts of different actions alone; then are individuals just as real in those universes? Are they then dictating further parallel universes based on the hypothetical one created by the original individual??? WHERE DOES IT END!?

The higher on the "fractal" loop you go, the closer to god you get, the more love you feel, the more conscious you are, and the more modes of fractal thinking you can experience.

Evolution is based on a model of reality that consists of energy-matter, space-time. Whereas actual reality consists of energy-matter, space-time, information-consciousness, which leads to the idea closer to living systems being uploaded as complete working objects.

You left a link on my tutorial of the app Fractal Architect 3D. You are right, I do find this interesting. I sign all my fractal art with "Designed by God the mathematician". It would be very surprising if the brain wasn't fractal. Exactly how that works is another question.

One thing that came to mind when you made the example of learning to speak in public, is that the belief system must be the starting point (as it is in Christian believes), because if you don't believe you "can" you will never "do".

Basicly, a fractal is just a set with fractional dimension or more precisely: A set is fractal if the hausdorff-besicovitch dimension exceeds the topological dimension.

Because in nature is going on an endless backaction there are also a lot if iterative-like structures. Although this mathematical monster (cantor, julia, etc.) was tamed in the last century, the mathematical theories have dismissed as some funny games. And not more. This things, which are really useful in science (fixed-point procedure, simulation of cosmic incidents, modelling of growing, calculation of flowing systems, meteorology, equilibrium of chemical systems, etc., etc.), we don't say fractal to this methods. And the most of this theories of backaction systems are older than the mandelbrot set.

Surely a new kind to describe some processes gives a new consciousness. Perhaps, there is sometimes a breakthrough. In the last 20 years a lot of scientist want to implement new fractal theories into their topic. I can just say: good luck =)

In your example, what if we replace public speaking with ADHD? Could it work that way too? For example, if I say to myself everyday that I don’t have ADHD and then take action by doing all the right things to improve my overall health, working on my attention and memory skills and of course getting therapy and using stimulants. Could my brain then improve by creating more neural connections and thus slowly decreasing the need for stimulants and therapy and eventually not have ADHD?

The Universe is scalable like fractals. Electrons probability patterns in the z-axis (sp<2), atomic bombs, Saturn and it's rings, galaxies, z-pinch of plasma currents (birkeland currents) in space (producing stars and galaxies). This shape is everywhere in the Universe, hour glass surrounded at the center with a ring or two or Möbius strip. Rings expand and the jets shrink.

Dr. Pierre-Marie Robitaille has proved Kirchoff's law is wrong! Everything isn't a blackbody, Kirchoff had carbon in all the experiments so it isn't a constant. So every equation it was used in is off. It's like thin film everything is a little different then you thought. Dr. Robitaille said, in a adiabatic box, one side a perfect emitter (lampblack) and the other half a perfect reflector (silver lined), with a hole allowing photons from the emitter into the reflector. The photon becomes a phonon and is send back to the emitter side along the box wall. Changing back into a photon because of no heat loss in the adiabatic box wall. Isn't this perpetual energy and couldn't this be powering the Universe?
I liked the YouTube showing the known Universe condensed, it resembled the electric brain. Who's brain is that mine, yours or ?
