Want to know how to underwrite any final expense client? You should check out this video.

It's a mosh posh of things Matt and Nick talk about but underwriting is the main focus.

What do you think? Should you get all the carriers, at once? Or wait and get a few at a time.

Also, who has funny in-house stories? Matthew's is hilarious!

Who are these guys?

Matthew Murray has been selling life insurance since 2015. Tired of seeing agents struggle, he set out on his mission to give out free content to all agents on various social media platforms. Matthew is known for his witty banter and great interviewing skills. He had built 3 insurance agencies in his career, each of them resulting in over 2 million dollars of annualized premium sold year over year. He now spends most of his time coaching small agency owners to drive production upward without losing sight of the field.

Nick Frumkin has been selling Final Expense life insurance, since 2013 and to date has sold nearly 2 million dollars in annual insurance premiums. He has been interviewed and published by numerous periodicals and was the Keynote speaker for the 2018 FEX training symposium. You can probably find him spending far too much time in Facebook forums.

Legitimately this is my favorite video in ages. The back half of our videos is almost always more fun than the topic we plan to discuss

Got to the end!

Hey when you’re learning underwriting one carrier at a time like you described here what’s the best way to keep up with which carrier’s are ok with which meds? Taking forever to get the name brand of each one and check it against Rx sheets takes forever and doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence from the client in my experience- but neither does missing something that gets you a graded or modified decision.

The actual health conditions I can handle pretty decently with but it’s those unfamiliar meds or combinations that get overwhelming sometimes.

Thanks

Had a 48-year-old guy with CHF amongst a bunch of other health issues. He was so excited just to find out he could qualify for some coverage.
