FYI Licorice Root raises Blood Pressure so not for pets with high blood pressure.
Marshmallow Root has worked for my cat with GERD much better than slippery elm because the latter is hard to mix with water. Marshmallow root can be bought in a tincture and easy to give to pet.
We tried digestive enzymes but gave my cat an ulcer. So switched to Fortiflora which has worked.
Great video to educate pet parents. My vet never heard of GERD in cats and ordered up thousands of $$$ of numerous testing. Listening to this vet & another Dr Jones gave us the answer!! Thank you

Hi Dr. Katie. Nancy Whitt here. Blaze has acid reflux, as you know. You've helped a lot with that in the past. My question is this. B & Z currently eat Dr. Harvey's, which recommends that I add oil to be complete. I've been using olive oil, walnut oil, or ghee. Could this be contributing to his acid reflux? Thank you!
